COCOCCIOLA is an exclusive grape variety from Abruzzo and some area of northern Puglia, of unknown origins, it was first reviewed in Abruzzo by two French ampelographers in 1900.
The vine was rediscovered and re-evaluated in the late 90s. The main characteristics lie in the great acidity and low PH values that make it very suitable for sparkling wine and the production of still white wines with a marked freshness and notable citrus notes (Grapefruit pink)
